Garrett Wexler, vice president of sales, and Yang check a client’s style, body shape, and profession as guidelines for selecting the best clothing choices. The process begins with a visit to the company’s by-appointment showroom on East 53rd Street off Fifth Avenue where Yang or Wexler take copious measurements. The measurement information is instantaneously transmitted to the Tailory New York workshops in China where individual patterns are digitally created and cut. Then clients will proceed to fabric selection, style, and such details as button and stitching choices, custom monograms and etc.
