Renowned Hong Kong jeweler Chow Tai Fook has created one of the most expensive pieces of jewelry ever made, specifically a 383.4 carat diamond and jade necklace, valued at $200 million.
Designed by Wallace Chan, dubbed “A Heritage in Bloom”, it is to be worn 27 different ways, through taking off and snapping together seemingly opposing sections. Studded with 11,551 diamonds, including 24 colorless and stunning 20.02-carat marquise-shaped diamond and a 11.94-carat round-shaped diamond cut by Chow Tai Fook from the Cullinan Heritage stone. The necklace also features clusters of jade mixed among diamonds, two diamond-encrusted bats that symbolize good fortune in China and two butterflies in a parable – a nod to Taoism.
Most probably the world’s most expensive piece of jewelry, this incredible necklace is one fashion accessory that would impress any ladies out there, but too bad is not for sale…….
