Tesla Motors has been around us since 2003 and it’s first project, the red hot Tesla Roadster, was the first production car to use lithium ion battery cells, kicking off a new era in car making with their beautiful and highly efficient electric cars and selling in 2,250 units over the years. They’ve introduced the stunning Model S – a massive hit. This year they’ll also start producing the innovative Model X. Tesla are making cars but are they going to build a motorcycle?
A talented digital designer, Jans Shlapins came up with this gorgeous Tesla motorcycle concept, dubbed “Model M”. Inspired by the brand’s history, the Model M would be powered by a 201 horsepower electric motor with lithium ion batteries. Just like the Model S, this stunning motorcycle concept won’t have any transmission, and will be built around an aluminum frame, as low as possible for extreme handling in tight corners. The Tesla bike would also feature a special compartment for electronics and helmet, right where the gas tank is located at a normal bike, and it will also get carbon fiber wheels and panelling. It’s a sleek concept that would surely look amazing on the streets……
