While its name is quite a mouthful, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon is as spectacular timepiece you really should remember.
It comes with a titanium and black DLC titanium case measuring 47mm in diameter, with a red aluminum container, double AR-coated sapphire crystals, and it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Roger Dubuis in-house caliber RD01SQ with 28 jewels, beating at 21,600 vph, and with a power reserve of 50 hours. One of its more striking features is the double flying tourbillion with differential at 4.30 and 7.30 (one rotation per minute for each), which is adjusted to six positions.
Also eye-catching is the skeletonized dial and skeleton movement. The latter is charcoal grey rhodium-plated, with a circular-grained plate, tourbillon carriages in the shape of a Celtic cross, and Poinçon de Genève certification. The dial, on the other hand, has a red aluminium skeleton flange, black minute-circle and Roger Dubuis transfers, titanium screws, skeleton hands in gold with black DLC treatment and covered with SuperLuminova.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon is a limited edition, as only 188 units will ever be produced……….
